As they continue to expand their analytics capabilities, they are seeking a few highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Scientist to join their award winning team.
Data Analysis and Modelling:
- Utilise statistical methods and machine learning techniques to analyse complex datasets.
- Develop predictive models and algorithms to extract meaningful insights.
- Proficient in programming languages such as, C#, Python, R, or Java to manipulate and analyse large datasets.
- Develop and maintain efficient and scalable code for data analysis tasks.
- Clean and pre-process raw data for analysis, ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Implement data wrangling techniques to handle missing values and outliers.
Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and business analysts to integrate data-driven solutions into operational processes. Communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Implement machine learning models into production systems, ensuring scalability and efficiency. Monitor and optimise deployed models for ongoing performance improvement.
Continuous Learning and Innovation:
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in data science and machine learning. Propose and implement innovative approaches to enhance data analytics capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
- A minimum of a 2:1 classification or above in the degree.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as, C# Python, R, or Java.
- Proven experience in applying statistical methods and machine learning techniques to real-world problems.
- Solid understanding of data pre-processing, cleaning, and feature engineering.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
