Team leading
  • Motivate immediate team on a daily basis to deliver across their key areas of responsibility.
  • Respond to and assist team members to resolve escalations or technical questions.
  • Monitor the performance of the immediate team and support them to make improvements as necessary.
  • Be involved in recruitment process for new team members.
  • Regularly meet with team members to review performance, invest in their development and ensure they have clear tasks/objectives to deliver.
  • Report to management with details of your and your team’s performance against objectives. This will involve a minimum of a monthly one-to-one session with your manager.
  • Comfortable and confident in escalating and communicating to managers, senior managers and executive directors when appropriate.
  • Effectively manage and monitor resource levels, and deciding on task priorities for team members.
Content creation
  • Prepare and coordinate the delivery of clear marketing communications aligned to our brand image.
  • Proof read marketing copy.
  • Contribute to and coordinate the generation of marketing brochures, customer case studies, video material and web updates.
  • Coordinate the production and distribution of new marketing material and literature.
  • Research and analyse market data/other business approaches in order to identify and tailor messages to specific audiences.
  • Continuously learn about our products and services in order to fully inform content creation.
  • Provide project management direction and video and written content input for analyst submissions such as Gartner, DMZ and Forrester.
Marketing support
  • Support campaign work across international marketplaces as required.
  • Organise events, networking opportunities, campaigns and awards applications.
  • Support brand and communications activities eg PR, web and video projects.
  • Support analysis of marketing performance data, looking for trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Update the marketing database and CRM as required.
  • Coordinate internal events and communications to promote our culture.
  • Assist with the creation of long-term marketing plans.
  • Support the sales department with a range of targeted collateral, campaigns and presentation preparation.
  • Build positive relationships with other departments to support effective content creation.
  • Website creation and update
  • Lead the planning and execution for group-wide website delivery, including in-country translations as required.
  • Maintain websites with updates to ensure the business maximises presence, online credentials and current information at all times.
  • Manage external agency support as required to support the development of websites.

Process and improvements

  • Develop KPIs for content that provide meaningful analysis of performance.
  • Present recommendations to enhance future content creation performance to management.
Person Profile
  • Education & Qualifications: Specialised/Technical
  • Bachelor’s Degree/equivalent, or substantial alternative experience
  • Marketing relevant qualifications/memberships eg CIM
Experience
  • Experience as a Marketing Operations Analyst or Campaign Manager
  • Good experience of running marketing campaigns, including digital
  • Good experience of analysing campaign data to provide meaningful insights
  • Demonstrable experience of implementing performance improvements
  • Experience in a data analytics role
  • Experience of working with and improving a CRM or similar system
  • Experience of leading a team
