Job Description
We are appointing a commercially focused Chief People Officer to lead the full People function within a growing organisation.
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will align People strategy with business performance and long-term growth. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Talent Acquisition, engagement, development and retention strategy
- Oversee complex employee relations, organisational design and change programmes
- Ensure full compliance with UK employment legislation
- Drive succession planning and leadership capability
- Provide data-led insight on engagement, absence, performance and retention
- Lead People-related activity across restructures, TUPE and M&A integration
Experience Required
- CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent)
- Degree Educated, 2:1 or above, with solid educational background
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR compliance
- Experience managing HRIS/HRMS systems and People analytics
- Solid understanding of payroll, benefits administration and workforce planning
- Proven delivery of strategic L&D initiatives
Person Profile
- Experienced People leader with commercial acumen
- High personal gravitas with board-level influence
- Comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels
Technology or telecoms sector experience is strong preference,
